Convener of Dakshin Surma Upazila BNP Md Sirajul Islam (50), died with coronavirus in Sylhet.
The BNP leader, who was also an former President of Tatly UP BNP breathed his last around 2.30Pm on Tuesday (27 October) while undergoing treatment at Sylhet Women’s Medical College hospital.
Deputy Office Secretary of Sylhet City BNP Lukman Ahmed confirmed the matter to Media.
He said the BNP leader had been suffering from cold related illness for the last several days and admitted to the hospital few days ago. Later he was shifted to the ICU as his physical condition deteriorated.
