Court Correspondent :BNP Joint Secretary General Barkatullah Bulu on Monday obtained bail in seven separate cases filed against him on charge of killing people torching bus.Earlier in the morning, Bulu surrendered to the courts in eight cases and sought bail in all the cases. Of the cases, the hearing of a case filed with Ramna Police Station could not be held as the case docket was lying with Dhaka’s Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court. The hearings in other seven cases were held and the courts granted him bail.Magistrates Keshob Roy Chowdhury, Maruf Hosain and Erfanullah granted him in these cases. Of the cases, three were filed with Ramna Police Station, one with Shahbagh, two with Dakkhinkhan and the remaining two were filed with Uttara East Police Station of the capital.Barkatullah Bulu was on bail up to Sunday following an order of the High Court.
