Disaster management and relief minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya Bir Bikrom on Saturday said the leaders of BNP and Jamaat involved in killings of innocent people by petrol bombs will be brought to justice.
“BNP-Jamaat men, who were involved in the killings of innocent people, will have to face the trial,” said Maya, also general secretary of Dhaka City unit of Awami League.
Speaking at an extended meeting at Bangabandhu Avenue, Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya said the real character of BNP-Jamaat is to kill people and that they enjoy killing people although it is a great sin.
Dhaka City unit of Awami League held the meeting to make the AL rally on Suhrawardy Udyan today successful on the occasion of Jail Killing Day on November 3.
Dhaka City AL president MA Aziz presided over the meeting. Food minister and Dhaka City AL joint-general secretary Advocate Quamrul Islam,Vice-President Foyes Uddin Miah and joint-general secretary Hazi Mohammad Selim, MP, among others, were present.
Speaking on the occasion Advocate Quamrul Islam said the split in BNP would destroy their politics. “BNP leaders have links with the militants and they are trying to make Bangladesh a failed state like Pakistan”, he further said
