Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said BNP introduced politics of killing and abduction in the country.
“Cutting of cake (by BNP) on the National Mourning Day on August 15 is politics of vengeance. BNP initiated politics of killing and abduction in the country,” he said this on Tuesday while speaking at a discussion and doa mahfil marking the National Mourning Day at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium in the city.
Bangladesh Krishak League arranged the discussion followed by distribution of foods among distressed and poor people on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
AL Joint General Secretary Mahbubul-Alam Hanif, MP, Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam, MP, Agriculture and Cooperatives Affairs Secretary Faridunnahar Laily addressed the discussion, among others.
Krishak League President Samir Chanda chaired the programme moderated by its General Secretary Advocate Umme Kulsum Smriti, MP.
