Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif on Monday said BNP has no strength to wage any movement as the party has become very weak organizationally.
He said this while addressing a discussion organized by BB Foundation marking the National Mourning Day at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) auditorium here.
Journalist Rahat Khan, BB Foundation Chairman Bahadur Bepari, General Secretary Saifur Rahman Tapon, DRU General Secretary Syed Shukur Ali Shuvo and Chhatra League former central leader Mahiuddin Mahi, among others, spoke on the occasion.
Hanif said BNP hatched conspiracy to take advantage capitalizing on quota movement and subsequently on students’ movement for safe roads but they failed to do that.
“Now BNP is hatching new conspiracies,” he added. The AL leader said though killers of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman have been brought to justice, behind the scene perpetrators are yet to be tried.
