The BNP on Wednesday donated Tk two lakh to cancer patient former Daily Amar Din Editor Rashidunnabi Babu as per the advice of party’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
BNP Senior Joint-Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi handed over the money to Babu’s sister Monira Akhter Rumi in the party’s central office.
BNP Vice-Chairman and journalist leader Shawkat Mahmud, BNP chairperson’s Advisors Abul Khair Bhuiyan and Abdus Salam, party’s Joint-Secretary General
Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Assistant Office Secretary Munir Hossain and city BNP leader Kazi Abul Bashar, among others, were present.
Monira Akhter Rumi expressed gratitude to the BNP. Rizvi said that his party’s Acting Chairman is closely monitoring the health condition of Rashidunnabi Babu.
