‘BNP gets frustrated over Govt’s huge dev activities’

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Friday said BNP is getting frustration over huge development activities carried out by the present government across the country.
“BNP becomes desperate and scared about the next general elections witnessing huge development activities of the present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said this on Friday while visiting the construction site of four-lane Dhaka-Tangail Highway in Chandhra area under Kaliyakoir upazila of the district.
Highway Police Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Atiqul Islam, Additional Chief Engineer of Dhaka Division Md Abdus Sabur, Deputy Commissioner Dr Dewan Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Police Super Md Harun-or-Rashid and senior officials accompanied the minister.
On a question of newsmen, Quader, also the General Secretary of Awami League, said, makeshift shops will be evicted from highways to ensure smooth movement of general people during the holy month of Ramzan and Eid.
