BNP firm to win in all UP polls if election is fair : Mir Nasir

The Divisional Chief of UP Election Monitoring Team on Chittagong and Advisor to the BNP Chairperson Mir Mohammad Nasiruddin said if the ongoing UP polls run with free, fair and neutral , all BNP nominees for Chairman posts under Hathazari Upazila would win undoubtedly.
Mir Nasir expressed suspicion over the massive vote rigging in Hathazari in coming UP polls. He demanded prohibition of ruling party cadres in the polling centres as well as outsiders rather bonafide voters. He disclosed it while addressing a press meet arranged at his Chatteswari road residence in city on Thursday .
 Mir Nasir said UP polls will not change the govt but it is only a field to create leadership.
But the present govt is exhibiting their naked character in all types of elections which is the Baksali character of Awami league.
He said BNP is a democratic party and hence they participating the polls to sustain democracy in the country.
Mentionable that UP polls in all 14 Ups of Hathazari upazila will be held today where BNP contesting for 11 chairmen posts .
 He also blamed the ruling party men for continous threat to withdraw their candidature from the polls.
Mir Nasir also accuses the ruling party for frequent obstructions to the poll campaigning of the BNP candidates like torching their posters , banners and opposing miking etc. In the press meet, City General Secretary of BNP Dr. Shahdat Hossain was also present among others.
