BNP on Tuesday filed a case with Tejgaon Police Station against over a hundred unidentified ruling party activists in connection with Monday’s attack on BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s motorcade at
Karwanbazar during her electioneering.
BNP joint secretary general Mahbubuddin Khokan
and advocate Sanaullah Miah submitted a written complaint signed by BNP chairperson’s chief security coordinator Major Gen (retd) Fazle Elahi Akbar to the police station over the incident.
Contacted, officer-in-charge of Tejgaon Police Station Mazharul Islam told UNB that they registered the complaint as a case.
