BNP has expelled another four of its grassroots leaders for contesting the upcoming Upazila elections violating the party’s decisions.
They are Bogura Sadar Upazila BNP President Maftun Ahmed Khan Rubel, Magura’s Mohammadpur Upazila general secretary Jahangir Alam Khan Bachchu, Sirajganj’s Chauhali Upazila member Mahfuza Khatun and the party’s primary member Abdullah Al Mamun.
A press release signed by BNP assistant office secretary Tiful Islam Tipu on Thursday said the four leaders were expelled from BNP’s all-level posts, including its primary membership.
Earlier on Tuesday, the party expelled nine of its grassroots leaders on the same ground.
