Staff reporter :
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said BNP is doing politics with the dengue outburst rather than extending their help to prevent it.
Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister came up with the remarks while participating in a cleanliness campaign in Dhaka’s Farmgate area on Saturday.
“They (BNP) are neither doing anything to prevent dengue menace nor standing beside the flood
victims. They have not participated in any cleanliness campaigns but repeatedly called upon the government to declare state of emergency or dengue as an epidemic,” he said.
“The people of the country want to see them work rather than just bear their party name,” the minister said.
