Coordinator of Awami League-led fourteen-party alliance Mohammed Nasim said BNP’s task is to create controversy over all good deeds of the incumbent government.
“BNP along with its political partners Jamaat is hatching conspiracy in all steps . . . It always creates controversy over all good works of the present government led by Sheikh Hasina,” he said this on Sunday while speaking at a meeting of the 14-party combined at Dhanmondi political office of Awami League President Sheikh Hasina.
Nasim, also Awami League Presidium Member and Health and Family Welfare Minister, urged BNP to severe the ties with Jama’at-e-Islami for committing anti-humanitarian acts by its party leaders and activities during the 1971 War of Liberation.
Referring to the landslide victory in Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) polls, he categorically said, “BNP won’t be able to win until it boycotts Jamaat; rather people will hate you (BNP) in the long run.”
The Awami League presidium member further thanked to all concerned especially Election commission (EC), party leaders, workers and law enforcement agencies for holding a free, fair and credible election in Narayanganj.
