The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir claimed that former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia was the first to lay the foundation stone of the Padma Bridge.
He said this in a view exchange meeting with the journalists at Thakugoan on Sunday.
The BNP Chairperson laid the foundation stone at the Mawa and the Zajira points. She laid the foundation stone of the Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge also.
He said the Padma Bridge belongs to all. . Everyone has his/her shares. But the ruling party has been trying to divide the nation.
With reference to the death of the Sitakunda fire victims’, the BNP leader said, the Sitakunda Container Depot’s mismanagement is the best example of mismanagement.
