BNP Chairperson being deprived of fundamental rights

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is being deprived of basic rights.
Khaleda Zia remained in hospital for a long time on account of multiple physical complications. She has again been admitted to Evercare Hospital with serious illness.
Gonoforum President Mostafa Mohsin Mantu and General Secretary Advocate Subrato Chowdhury said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
According to the statement, former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is being deprived of her fundamental rights from the opportunity of getting proper treatment.
She was rushed to the hospital after her condition deteriorated again in three days ago at midnight.”We are requesting the government to allow Khaleda Zia to go abroad for appropriate treatment as per the recommendations of the Medical Board immediately,” they said in the statement.
According to physicians, Khaleda’s condition has not yet been stabilized and her condition is still critical.
She is still under the observation of doctors in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
Earlier on Sunday, three blockages were detected in the arteries of the BNP chairperson through a coronary angiogram test conducted on Saturday, Zahid Hossain said.
Zahid, also a BNP vice-chairman, said Khaleda suffered a heart attack due to nearly 95% blockage in her left artery.
The 76-year-old former Prime Minister has long been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung and eye problems.
