Leaders express mixed reaction: BNP announces 15 new Joint, Organising Secys’ name

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Saturday announced the names of its seven Joint Secretary Generals and eight organising secretaries.
Among the fortunates, 12 out of the 15 are new faces and young blood.
The announcement has created mixed reaction among the leaders and activists of the party. Some of the leaders have expressed their happiness, while some of them showed sign of discontent.
The party Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the names in a press briefing at the party’s Nayapaltan office in the capital on the day.
The new Joint Secretary Generals are Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Mujibur Rahman Sarwar, Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, Khairul Kabir Khokon, Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel, Harunur Rashid and Lion Aslam Chowdhury.
Besides, the Organising Secretaries are Fazlul Haque Milan (Dhaka), Dr. Shahadat Hossain (Ctg), Ruhul Quddus Talukdar Dulu (Rajshahi), Nazrul Islam Monju (Khulna), Asadul Habib Dulu (Rangpur) Bilkis Jahan Shirin (Barisal), Emran Saleh Prince (Mymensingh) and Shama Obayed (Faridpur).
 Newly nominated organizing secretary Ruhul Quddus Talukader Dulu became seriously unhappy with his post. “We and our leader (Dulu) are seriously unhappy. This is a less important post in the party. If the party high-ups considered his contribution, then he would get a senior post,” a BNP leader of Natore district and supporter of Ruhul Quddus Talukader Dulu, told The New Nation preferring anonymity.
Meanwhile Fazlul Haque Milan also was unhappy with his post. He was optimistic would get Joint Secretary General Post. His cell phone was found switched off.
On the other hand some leaders expressed happiness. “ I always obey my party chief’s decision. I will try to make her and my party men happy with my duties,” said Shama Obayed, the newly nominated organizing secretary.
