General Secretary of BNP, Chittagong CityUnit Dr. Shahdat Hossain said, BNP always work for the development women community during their regime.
BNP always desire safety of women and implementation of the social rights of the women.
He was addressing the distribution function of Iftari commodities to the poor at Hamzarbag school ground in city on Friday as Chief Guest.
Alokit Nari Unnayan Sangstha and Panchalaish thana Mohila Dal jointly arranged the distribution of Iftar commodities at the Hamzarbag School ground.
Dr. Shahdat Hossain said, the role of women in social development is praiseworthy and the women are relentlessly working in the garments sector to help facilitate the country for earning foreign currency.
Now the women community is more alert than the male in their rights.
He also said BNP during their regime always extends cooperation to the women for social development .
But the present Govt is harassing the women when they demand their rights during movement in the roads and failed to fulfill the demands of the thousand women workers of Rana plaza disaster.
He further assures that if BNP came to power, they will do every welfare oriented programs for the women so as to enrich the women community in the country.
President of Alokit Sangatha and Panchalaish thana Mahila Dal Rabeya Begum presided over it.
Among others, BNP leaders RU Chowdhury Shahin, Mohanagar Mahila Dal leader Jelly chowdhury, BNP leader Enamul Hoque Minto, Ruhul Amin Rezia Begum Bulu, selina Akhter Seli and Momtaz Begum spoke on the occasion.
