BNP Vice- president and Former Minister Advocate Nitai Roy Chowdhury on Wednesday alleged that the corruption by the Awami League (AL) government and the ruling party members has led to the rising prices of essential commodities.
“The prices of all commodities have gone up due to the corruption of the Awami League government and the ruling party’s leaders and activists. People must be united to control the commodity prices and prevent this corruption,” said the BNP leader.
Senior Advocate of Supreme Court, was addressing a rally as chief guest, held at historic Rothkola maidan in kishoreganj on wednesday afternoon, Kishoreganj District BNP organised the rally protesting the rising prices of essential commodities and untill services.
They demanded the supply of commodities at low prices among people through TCB.
