BN provides PPE to tackle corona crisis

Bangladesh Navy (BN) has provided different types of medical and safety equipment to Tungipara 100-bed Upazila Health Complex and ‘Ma o Shishu Hospital’, to fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
Khulna Naval Area Commander Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa recently handed over the medical and safety equipment to the hospitals authorities, said an Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) in a press release.
They provided personal protective equipment (PPE), masks, gloves, safety glasses, thermometer and sanitizer, the release added.
Besides, they provided disinfectant stuff at the Mausoleum complex of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the office of upazila parishad chairman. Bangladesh Navy is conducting various awareness programs, including how to disinfect germ and provide food and medical assistance, in areas under their supervision in Dhaka, Khulna and Chittagong districts to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
In addition to managing the situation, they are distributing various relief items, including rice and pulse, to the houses of the local poor and helpless people.
