Warship of Bangladesh Navy ‘Bangabandhu’ returned home on Thursday after participating in the sixth Doha International Maritime Exhibition and Conference- 2018 in Qatar.
The ship reached Chittagong naval port in the morning of the day. Bangladesh, the United States, India along with many other countries took part in the event which was held from March 12 to March 14. Earlier, the warship of Bangladesh Navy BNS Bangabandhu left the country on February 22, 2018 to attend the 6th Doha International Maritime Exhibition and Conference- (DIMDEX-2018) held at Doha in Qatar from March 12-14 last . A total of 230 naval personnel attended the DIMDEX this year, according to ISPR.
After attending the DIMDEX 2018, the warship gave a goodwill-visit to Mumbai in India and Colombo in Srilanka. The war returns in the country on March 29, the release added.
