Birshrestho Muktijoddha Projonmo Sangrami Oikya Parishad (BMPSOP) observed the 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Architect of the Independence and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day in a befitting manner on Tuesday.
On the occasion, a mourning procession, led by SM Golam Mostofa Kamal, President, Wahiduzzaman, General Secretary, Masudul Hasan Masud, senior Joint General Secretary of the parishad, was brought out at Dhanmondi in the capital.
Later, the leaders paid their tribute by placing wreaths before the portrait of Bangabandhu.
Other leaders of the organization, including Jashoda Jibon Nandi, Organizing Secretary, were present on the occasion.
