Raifa's death: BMDC probe team visits Max hospital

The probe team of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) visited Max Hospital over the death of three-year-old Raifa Khan.
The team went to the hospital around 10 am and talked to its Chairman Dr Shib Sangker Saha, Managing Director Ranjan Prasad Gupta, Dr Bidhan Roy Chowdhury, Dr Debashis Sengupta, Dr Suvra Deb and on-duty nurses and word boys.
The team also collected all the records related to the baby’s admission at the hospital and her death.
Raifa Khan, 3, died due to wrong treatment at the private hospital in the port city in the early hours of June 29.
Later, two probe panels formed by the government to look into the incident.
