BMCCI, EPB discuss ways to boost trade ties with Myanmar

Bangladesh Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) has sought support from the Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) to explore business potential in Myanmar.
A delegation of the trade body met EPB Vice Chairman Mafruha Sultana at latter’s office in the city recently and discussed in detail the strategies of bilateral business development means with special emphasis on confidence building measures.
BMCCI president SM Nurul Hoque, senior vice president Sheikh MA Sohhan Liton, executive director M Musleh Uz Zaman, Director Finance Dewan Faruque and EPB director general Dr ASM Manzur Kadir attended the meeting, the trade body said in a press release on Wednesday.
They laid emphasis on efforts towards exploring huge trade potential of using gateway to Asean and Saarc.
The BMCCI leaders said the endeavour should begin with boosting the image between the countries’ business communities.
