The Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation (BMAC) requested Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) to include them in the upcoming Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games.
About 1000 athletes of Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation and their coaches, referees and officials are in uncertainty over participating in the forthcoming Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games, which is scheduled to be held from April 1 to April 10.
Officials of BMAC are requesting to President of Bangladesh Olympic Association and Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed to take necessary steps for including them in the Games.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation Hasanuzzaman Moni said to the New Nation, ” Ministry of Youth and Sports and National Sports Council asked to include us in the Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games. But the Bangladesh Olympic Association yet to include us. We are requesting to President of Bangladesh Olympic Association, please play a direct role to include us in the upcoming Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games.”
