Superb bowling display by Ariful Haque and Shorawardy Shuvo saw Khulna Division dismissed their first innings at 218 against Rangpur Division on the second day of the tier 1 four-day match of 19th Walton Smart Fridge National Cricket League held on Saturday at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi.
Anamul Haque top scored with 61 runs while Nahidul Islam added 51, after Khulan resumed their first innings with overnight score at 77 for 3.
Wet outfield almost consumed the second day’s play after rain forced early close of first day’s play.
Ariful Haque and Shorawardy Shuvo finished four wickets each conceding 49 and 57 runs respectively while Tanvir Haider bagged two for 21.
