A 15-day blood donation campaign will begin today at Islamic University (IU), Kushtia with a view to raising awareness over the positive impact of blood donation in the society.
Tarunno, a non-political and voluntary organisation of the university, organises the event that features procession, inauguration ceremony, discussion and faculty-wise campaign to create awareness about blood donation.
“We have already completed all the preparations to hold the event and it will end on November 5, said M Mominul Islam, president of Tarunno.
University Proctor Professor Dr M Mahbubar Rahman, students’ advisor Professor Dr M Anowarul Haque and Tarunno moderator Professor Dr M Shahjahan Mondal will attend the inauguration ceremony, among others.
