Ending her six-year wait for offspring since her marriage, a woman finally gave birth to quadruplets at a hospital here on Tuesday afternoon.
Four baby girls were born to Sonia Begum, 24, wife of Emon Hasan of Aziz Sarder Crossing in Pangsha upazila headquarters of Rajbari district at Faridpur Diabetic Medical College Hospital around 2 pm through cesarean section. Dr Dipti Rani Saha, a physician at the hospital, said the newborns have been kept on incubators as they were born at the 8th month of pregnancy and suffering from malnutrition. “Otherwise, they’re now fine,” she said.
