A youth who suffered burn injuries in a crude bomb blast in Shah Mirpur area of Paschim Patia upazila on Wednesday (February 11) died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Idris, 19, son of Abdus Sattar, a resident of Pekua upazila in Cox’s Bazar district.
Sattar succumbed to his burn injures at the
Intensive Care Unit of CMCH around 4:30pm, said Jahirul Islam, a sub-inspector of CMCH police camp.
Sattar sustained burn injuries as miscreants blasted several crude bombs in the area during hartal and blockade enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance on Wednesday.
