U-16 Cricket: BKSP scores 256 against Khulna Div

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratisthan (BKSP) scored 256 runs against Khulna Division on the first day of a two-day match of the Young Tigers U-16 National Cricket Tournament at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on Friday.
On the first day (Friday), sent in to bat first, BKSP posted the score for 7 wickets in 90 overs with two down batsman Aminul Islam contributing 73 runs off 147 balls with 11 boundaries.
Skipper Riazul Islam (36), Rahat Sarkar (not out 31), Jubair Ahmed (30), Nazmul Huda (not out 25), Sartaz Aziz (25) and Ratul Khan (18) were the other notable scorers for BKSP.
Jalal Uddin claimed three wickets for 55 runs while Shahadat Hossain, Jisanul Islam and Tipu Sultan took one wicket each for 35, 36 and 75 runs respectively.
In reply, Khulna Division opened the first innings and scored 13 for no loss in five overs at stumps on the first day.
Najmul Alam and Tanvir Sojib were batting on 8 and 4 runs respectively.

Dhaka Metro VS Rangpur Div
In another match at Cox’s Bazar ground-2, batting first after winning the toss, Dhaka Metropolis scored 217 runs for all in 75.4 overs on the first day.
Number seven batsman Mahidul Sagar scored the team highest 71 runs off 137 balls with 11 fours while Nahid Hasan (37), Shahadat Hossain(26), Nazir Mohammad (15), Shakil Hossain (14), Shahariar Sagar (12) and Riaduzzaman (11) were the other double digit scorers for Dhaka Metro.
Muhib Billah claimed five wickets for 48 runs while Musfiqur Islam took three wickets conceding 56 runs.
In reply, Rangpur Division opened the first innings and scored 20 runs losing one wicket in 18 overs at stumps on the day.
Utpol Roy and Abdullah Al Shuvo were batting on 10 and 7 runs respectively.
Mahidul Sagar took the solitary wicket for 9 runs in 4 overs spell.
