Dhaka Premier Division Women's Cricket League: BKSP rout Ansar by 59 runs

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratishthan (BKSP) won against Anbsar & VDP by 59 runs in the match of Dhaka Premier Division Women’s Cricket League at BKSP Ground-4 on Wednesday.
Winning the toss BKSP elected to bat first and scored 201 runs for 9 in 50 overs, riding on the second wicket stand of 67 runs in 16.3 overs between Morsheda Khatun Shoma and Zinnat Asia.
Opener Morsheda, was adjudged player of the match, scored 40 runs off 83 balls with four fours while Zinnat scored 37 runs off 65 balls with four fours.
Number six Aka Mollik (32) and skipper Farzana Akter (21) were the other notable scorers for the side.
Mahmuda Khan grabbed three wickets for 33 runs while Shohaly Akther took two wickets for 25 runs, both bowled 10 overs each.
Fatema Khatun, Monira Akther and Anu Akter took one wicket each for 31, 35 and 37 runs respectively in 6, 7 and 10 overs.
Chasing a target of 202 runs, Ansar & VDP scored 142 runs for 9 wickets in stipulated 50 overs.
Skipper Shohaly Akther scored team highest 35 runs off 57 balls with five fours while number ten Happy Alam (21), opener Mahmuda Khan (20), Fatema Khatun (13) and Shova Khanam (10) were the other double digit scorers for the side.
Morsheda grabbed three wickets for 23 runs in 10 overs while Jannatul Ferdous and Ismot Jahan took two wickets each for 25 and 37 runs respectively in 10 and 8 overs.
Nahida Akter and Sanjida Akter Shumi took one wicket each for 19 and 27 runs respectively in 9 and 10 overs.
