BKSP, Bangladesh Army won their respective matches of the Victory Day Hockey Competition at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.
Earlier, Freedom fighter Habibul Alam, Bir Pratik inaugurated the hockey meet as the chief guest while Director of Fu-Wang Limited Polymar Industries Limited Ishtiaq Sadek was with him as the special guest. Vive-President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) Mirza Farid Ahmed, Vice-President of BHF Khawaja Rahmatullah were present at the time.
In the day’s first match, BKSP defeated Raktim Sangha by 5-2 goals.
Ashraful of BKSP scored three goals and his teammates Arshad, Raju netted one goal each.
Ishan of Raktim Sangha pulled of two.
In the day’s second match, Bangladesh Navy beat Bangladesh Police by 8-0 goals.
Russell Mahmud of Bangladesh Navy scored four goals and his teammate Krishna Kumar Das netted two goals and their colleagues Mainul Islam, Roman Sarkar successfully struck one time each on the board.

Bangladesh Air Force vs Narayanganj District team (1.15 pm),
Bangladesh Army vs Bangladesh Police (3.15 pm).
