Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP) dominated the first day of the Walton
Refrigerator 30th National Junior Athletics Competition that began on Friday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
On the first day of two-day meet, BKSP secured five gold and three silver medals while Noakhali District Sport Association bagged two gold and three bronze medals.
Besides, Khulna District Sports Association won one gold and two silver and one bronze medals while Narayanganj District Sports Association collected one gold medals after the first day’s meet.
Bangladesh Olympic Association deputy secretary general Badal Roy inaugurated the meet as the chief guest while Walton deputy director head of games and sports FM Ibqal Bin Anwar was present as special guest.
