Nepal Judo team emerged as the champions of the BKSP Cup Judo Championship on Wednesday.
India, Nepal, Bhutan and BKSP, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP took part in the two-day long judo meet, which was held at the BKSP in Savar.
A total of 130 judokas competed in the 10 weight categories. Nepal bagged four gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal. India became runners-up collecting three gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal. BKSP finished third earning two gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals.
Bhutanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Sonam Tobden Rabgye was the chief guest in the prize-giving ceremony, while Director General of BKSP Brigadier General Md Shamsur Rahman was with him as the special guest.
