Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) clinched the top slot in the Hamidur Rahman Youth Shooting Championship securing five gold, two silver and two bronze medals that concluded at the Gulshan Shooting Sports Complex on Saturday.
Army Shooting Association finished distant 2nd with one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid, MP was the chief guest in the day’s closing function and later he distributed the the prizes.
President of Bangladesh Shooting Sports Federation Nazimuddin Chowdhury and general secretary Intiqabul Hamid were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, captain of Bangladesh Test Cricket team Mushfiqur Rahim inaugurated the three-day meet named after renowned politician, social worker and close associate of Bangabandhu Hamidur Rahman.
Some 120 promising shooters from 25 clubs took part in the three-day competition.
