Bangladesh Knit Wear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) and LIBAS Textiles Ltd has signed an agreement with a view to attaining LEED certificate from United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
Eng. Md. Towhidur Rahman Managing Director of LIBAS Textiles Ltd. and A H Aslam Sani First Vice- President of BKMEA signed on the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations on Wednesday, says a press release.
Green Building and LEED certificate are highly prerequisite for all in view to prevent all sort of disorder situation and for presenting an environmental based working place for employees.
Held at the conference room of BKMEA, the agreement signing ceremony was also present among others by the Directors of LIBAS Textiles Ltd. Mashiur Rahman Chamok and Md. Arefeen Ahamad, Head of Marketing Fahim Al Matin, Chief Financial Officer Suzan Kumar Biswas, Assistant General Manager Ahasanul Haque, Manager Ahamedul Haque Mondol and Second Vice- President of BKMEA Monsur Ahame.d were present in the signing ceremony.
