BSS, Dhaka : The Bangladesh Karate Federation (BKF) accorded reception to five Bangladeshi referees who successfully passed in the karate referee examination held in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo last month, said a BKF press release on Thursday. The reception ceremony was held on Thursday at National Sports Council Tower conference room. Organised by Asian Karate Federation, five Bangladeshi referees – Mojibur Rahman, Awalad Hossain, S Islam Shuvo, Sharif Zada Kawsar Ahmed and Lata Parveen – took part in the examination. This was the first time the history of BKF five Bangladeshi referees achieved the glory of passing out international referee exam in one attempt. Public Administration Ministry’s senior Secretary and BKF president Dr. M Mozammel Haque Khan was the chief guest in the reception ceremony. Bangladesh Handball Federation general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor and Bangladesh Swimming Federation general secretary MB Saif were present as special guests.
