Dr. Md. Liakat Hossain Moral and Md. Afzal Karim have joined Bangladesh Krishi bank (BKB) as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) recently, said a press release.Among them, prior to joining as DMD Dr. Md. Liakat Hossain Moral was the GM of Dhaka Division in the bank. He started his career in Bangladesh Krishi Bank in 1983 as Senior Officer. He obtained MSS with honors in Economics from Dhaka University in 1981. He completed Banking diploma, Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management, Diploma in Computer Application from BIBM and also did L.L.B. degree from Dhanmondi Law College. He was elected Senate Member of Dhaka University and a Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Orthaniti shamity. Moral was also the General Secretary of Surgent Zohurul Haque Hall of Dhaka University. He performed his responsibilities with goodwill at different levels in various departments including Head Office.He took part in the various trainings, seminars and symposiums held at home and abroad. He comes of a respectable Muslim family of Madaripur District. Another appointed new DMD Md. Afzal Karim was the GM (Admin) of the same bank. Before joining BKB he started his career in House Building Finance Corporation. He graduated in Engineering from KUET in 1987. He completed Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management and obtained MBA degree later on. He performed his responsibilities in different levels as Zonal Head of Dhaka and Chittagong. He was awarded with a reward and crest for an outstanding contribution in loan recovery and case dismissing.
