Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania joined at Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) as Managing Director recently. Prior, he was the Deputy Managing Director of Agrani Bank Limited, said a press release.
Md. Ali started his banking career in Agrani Bank as probationary officer in 1986. In his banking career, he performed responsibilities as branch manager, head of different important departments of head office in Agrani Bank. He had been the Head of Treasury, Head of ID, Circle General Manager,CAMLCO and DMD Principal Branch. Ali played a vital role in increasing the flow of foreign remittance while he was the CEO of Agrani Exchange House in Singapore from 2008 to 2014. He is the Chairman of Technical Committee of Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers’ Association (BAFEDA). He took part in various trainings and seminars at home and abroad. Prodhania completed Honours and Masters Degree in Finance from Dhaka University.
