Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) Chandpur region has disbursed Taka 6.33 crore as agriculture loan in the district during the last few months of the current fiscal (2016-17).
BKB Chief Regional Office sources said Taka 93.16 crore will be disbursed as different loans in the current fiscal.
Regional Chief of the bank Najibuddoula said the loan will be disbursed on seasonal crops production, pisciculture, livestock, small and medium enterprise (SME), poverty alleviation and other agriculture-based project.
The bank will also disburse Taka 60 lakh for species cultivation and dairy firms.
