Zee Media Bureau, New Delhi :
More trouble seems to be in store for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal with the BJP appearing all set to file a defamation case against him.
Kejriwal had alleged that BJP is indulging in horse-trading to garner the numbers required to form the government in Delhi. The former Delhi CM went to the extent to claim that Rs 20 crore was offered to six Congress MLAs to switch sides.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had rejected the AAP’s claim on horse-trading, and said that the BJP has no intention of ever doing so. “BJP never indulged in horse trading, nor will we ever indulge in it,” Singh said..
His party colleague Nalin Kohli said, “Be it Kejriwal or Ashutosh, they have nothing to do but put false allegations on people.”
“Making baseless allegations is his old habit, why does not he come out with names? This is just a publicity stunt,” Nitin Gadkari, former BJP president and union minister, said.
