Team BJMC will face traditional giant Mohammedan Sporting Club in the 4th round of the JB Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football match at Beer Muktijoddha Rafique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium on Sunday.
The 25th match of the country’s 9th edition prestigious football league match will begin at 4 pm.
On completion of the 3rd round Chittagong phase at M A Aziz Stadium on Aug 3, both Mohammedan SC and Team BJMC collected identical two points each from three matches apiece.
Mohammedan SC opened their account with a 1-1 draw against Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society in the first match, before lost to Chittagong Abahani Ltd with a big 4-2 margin in the 2nd match and finished their Chittagong phase playing a goalless draw against Soccer Club Feni.
Team BJMC started the league with a 1-1 draw against Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, and then played out another 1-1 against Brothers Union Ltd in the 2nd match, finally conceded a solitary goal defeat against Dhaka Abahani Ltd.
Team BJMC enjoyed a bit advantage situation in the race in terms of goal difference scoring two goals against their opponents while conceded one goal.
On the other hand, Mohammedan scored three goals for the side, but conceded five goals in their three matches.
