BJMC, Tangail and Rangpur Districts emerged zonal champions in the KFC National Women’s Football Championship eliminating their rivals in the zonal finals at different venues across the country on Saturday.
In Meherpur, BJMC clinched the zonal crown crushing Kushtia District by massive 15-0 goals in the zonal final.
Sabina made triple hat-trick scoring nine goals in the match.
In Rajshahi, Tangail emerged zonal champion outplaying Jamalpur District by 8-0 goals in the zonal final.
Krishna Rani made double hat-trick scoring six goals.
In Rangpur, hosts Rangpur District lifted the zonal title beating Dinajpur District by 2-0 goals in the zonal final with Laboni and Ankhi scoring one goal each.
In Faridpur, Rajbari District outplayed Madarbari District by 6-0 goals.
Salma netted twice while Lily, Jui and Sadia scored one goal each for the winners. The remaining one was a suicidal goal.
In Laxmipur, Khagrachhari District beat hosts Laxmipur District by 4-2 goals in tie breaker as the match was locked in goalless position in the stipulated period.
