BJMC and Panchagarh district team reached the final of the Walton Air Conditioner National (U-19) Youth Female Handball Tournament on Saturday.
In the first semifinal, BJMC blanked Jamalpur district team by 24-0 goals after completing the first half with a 7-0 goals lead at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Shirina Akhter of BJMC scored seven goals and her teammate Sumi Begum netted six goals.
In the second semifinal, Panchgarh district team defeated Naogaon district team by 19-9 goals after finishing the first session with a 10-4 goals lead at the same venue.
Rubina of Panchagarh scored six goals and her teammate Masuda netted five goals while Shahanaz of Naogaon pulled off three.
Today Jamalpur district team will face Nagaon district team at 3.30 pm in a place-deciding match at the same venue.
