Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) emerged champions in the day-long Independence Day Open Cycling Competition held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Sunday.
BJMC clinched the top slot securing three gold and one silver medal while Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) finished runners-up with two gold, two silver and two bronzes.
Secretary of National Sports Council (NSC) Shib Nath Roy was the chief guest at the day’s closing function and later he distributed the prizes.
President of Bangladesh Cycling Federation Mizanur Rahman Manu, general secretary SM Imtiaz Khan Babul, sports organizers Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Quamrunnahar Dana and Ibrahim Changish were also present.
