In observance of the International Drama Education Association(IDEA) Day, Bangladesh Institute of Theatre Arts arranged a function at Threatre Institute Centre in the city on Thursday .
The function was arranged with the slogan of ” Cultural Education for All Students and Everywhere for All ” Mentionable that BITA is working to imbue the mass with cultural education .
BITA beliefs cultural education is a important media so that people can access to any class of people irrespective of caste and creed. BITA is working in Bangladesh to introduce Bangla folk cultural to the people of remote areas as well as the all types of students and new generations. So BITA is advancing ahead with the slogan of Cultural Education for All students & Everywhere for All for the last 25 years.
Mentionable that IDEA Day is being celebrated across the world on November 27 every year . IDEA is formed at Portugal in 1992 . Exe;cutive Director of BITA Mr. Shishir Dutta presented the keynote paper in the program. Poet and journalist Abul Momen, Prof. Israphil Shaheen of Chattogram University , Prof. Dali Al Mamun of Dhaka university and Head of Department of Drama Arts of CU Prof. Shamim Hasan were present in it as discussants.
