Today (April 1) is the 96th birthday of eminent poet Abdul Hye Mashreki. Different socio-cultural organizations have chalked out separate programme to celebrate the birthday of the poet.
A discussion meeting and cultural function will be held at 5 pm today (Wednesday) at the office of the Monthly Jono Proshasan, 85, Naya Paltan in the city.
Besides, Poet Abdul Hye Mashreki Research Centre, Nazrul Research Organization Agnibina and gunijon.com will jointly organize a 3-day function at Shilpakala Academy in the city on April 25, 26 and 27.
