The 93rd birth anniversary of late Mirza Mehdy Ispahani was observed on May 14 last. On the occasion reciting from the Holy Quran, a Doa Mahfil and a commemoration meeting were held at the Hallroom of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School.
He was a renowned industrialist, education enthusiast, the Chairman of MM Ispahani Ltd., and the founder of the School.
On this day the school authority arranged a competition on painting and essay writing regarding his biography and students from all classes took part in it.
The learners of the school also published a wall magazine. SM Mojibur Rahman, the Headmaster of the school presided over the meeting.
In the speech he remembered Mirza Mehdy Ispahani with profound respect and mentioned the contribution of the Ispahani family in the field of education and economy of Bangladesh. The program came to an end through a prayer for the salvation of his departed soul.
