Biplob Bhattacharjee made Bangladesh goalkeeping coach

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) are bringing on board one of the most respected goalkeeping coaches in the country after a very successful spell with Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal over the last two Bangladesh Premier League seasons, said a BFF press release on Monday.
Biplob will join the backroom staff of national team’s head coach Jamie Day with the senior national team and U-23’s as well as a broad spectrum related to goalkeeping development throughout the game.
The federation has decided to create a long-term approach to the development of goalkeepers. Biplob has a wealth of playing experience both domestically and at International level. With notable successes with some as captain, as a consummate professional with a refreshing approach to developing goalkeepers at all ages and the BFF is excited by his appointment.
BFF national technical director Paul Smalley over Biplob’s appointment commented that “It’s important we create continuity in everything we do, so with Biplob’s appointment this allows the catalyst for us to identify and develop goalkeepers from those young age groups to the seniors. We must visit our clubs, connect with the goalkeeping coaches, goalkeepers and also we would like to create a federation academy for goalkeepers”
Biplob Bhattacharjee in his reaction said: “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the Federation. It’s a dream to be able to work at this level of the game as a goalkeeping coach.”
