Versatile actress Bipasha Hayat has been appointed as a goodwill ambassador for the global non-profit organization Save the Children in Bangladesh (SCinBD). The announcement came on the eve of the organization’s 50th anniversary in Bangladesh recently.
Bipasha and SCinBD Country Director Mark Pierce signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the SCinBD country office.
After signing the MoU, Bipasha told the media: “I have long been interested in working for the underprivileged children of our country. Ever since I became a mother and felt a child inside me, I feel a special kindness not just for my children, but for all the children out there.”
Pierce said: “Save the Children has been working in Bangladesh for the last 50 years to have a positive impact on children’s lives. We welcome Bipasha Hayat to join our cause as our goodwill ambassador. We believe her commitment and voice will certainly help us in creating a better future for children in Bangladesh.”
