Ekushey Award winner noted actor, playwright and director Abul Hayat’s two perfect daughters Bipasha Hayat and Natasha Hayat. Following her father’s footsteps on the screen Bipasha has already won the hearts of many viewers by virtue of her acting. But Natasha did not follow that step. Fashion related anything always attracted her. When Bipasha started acting her costumes were designed by Natasha.
Despite she was engaged with acting Natasha jointly started a partnership fashion house with Bipasha Irises Designer Studio since 2008. Later after giving birth of two children Natasha took a break for four years.
In 2013, Natasha again started Irises Designer Studio in the city’s Green Road area with the assistance of Roksana Akhter Lopa. Day by day Natasha started to get profit from that fashion studio. As a result, eight months ago she opened its second outlet in the city’s Banani’s Block No F area. Bipasha Hayat is now working as its brand ambassador.
While talking in this regard Bipasha Hayat told this correspondent, “In every human being of different professions like banker, engineer, physician, etc there must have artistic creativity. Natasha studied in Marketing Management but she had keen interest about fashion designing. Though she was irregular in acting but always got comfort in fashion designing. Now in her studio good products are being produced and buyers are showing their interest to buy those.”
Natasha shared her feelings by this way, “With my father’s interest I did acting but I could not love it. As a I have two children so I wanted to choose that profession by which I can get enough time for them. Now I am very much satisfied with my fashion studio which has already come into present position. I am grateful to my parents, Boro Apu, Shahed and Lopa in this regard.”
It is noted that Natasha completed BBA from North South University and masters from a university of London in Marketing Management. She worked 10 years in GrameenPhone, ATDP Project of USAid, Warid Telecom and Radio Foorti. In childhood, she first acted under her father’s direction on stage in play Bisorjon. Natasha acted first TV play was Bondi.
