Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique called upon the new generation botanists and zoologists to work for welfare of the mankind and reach the benefits of research to the doorsteps of the people for the protection and growth of agriculture resources.
He made the call while speaking as the chief guest at a conference organized by Bangladesh Association for Plant Tissue Culture and Bio-Technology (BAPTC&B) at Hotel Sea Palace in Cox’s Bazar, said a DU press release on Saturday.
Presided over by BAPTC&B President Prof. Dr. M Mozammel Haq, the function was attended by Faculty of Biology Dean Prof. Dr. Imdadul Haq as special guest.
